ASHLAND, Ky. — Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) is offering Healthy at Work Online Training in an effort to provide up-to-date training on COVID-19 risk factors and protective actions that prevent the spread of the virus to local area businesses.

The interactive online course helps business owners and organizations educate employees and document their efforts to ensure a safe and healthy environment during the current pandemic and beyond.

“This training came from a collaboration with Owensboro Community & Technical College and we felt that companies might find a need for this,” said Robin Harris, Director of Workforce Solutions at ACTC. “We can keep records for companies to show which of their employees have taken the training in case they need documentation in the future.”

ACTC hopes that by providing this training, it can help educate the community on safe and healthy workplace practices to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The training is conveniently offered online so businesses employees can train anywhere, anytime. It is also cost-effective and timesaving as opposed to in-person training.

The Healthy at Work online training takes approximately 1-hour to complete.
