FRIDAY THE 13TH AND A FULL MOON TO BOOT!!
Nearly 20 million people call off work and stay home on Friday the 13th. Most of the anxiety of the day comes from the crucifixion of Jesus which was on a Friday and he had 13 people at the last supper. To top it all off, it is a full moon! We won’t have another Friday the 13th and a full moon on the same day for 30 years. So, let’s just hang together and get thru this together!!!
We have had a busy week here at the Alliance. We are into the second of eight weeks with Community Leadership and getting ready for Youth Leadership to start around the corner. We also welcomed a new business into the community with a ribbon cutting for Herb N Stone Tea Shop on Monday. They are located at 1425 Carter Avenue, Ashland. This coming Monday we are working with BWH on a ribbon cutting for their security business at 7349 U. S. Route 60, Ashland. The ribbon drops at noon!
Next week we also have our Fall Golf Outing at Diamond Links. This Friday event is a great time to come out and celebrate with the Alliance and take a swing at winning the traveling Trophy. It is still not to late to sign up! Just call Missy at the Alliance.
We are getting close to the Alliance Annual Meeting and Regional Celebration, as well. This event will be held on Saturday October 5 and is going to be the best one we have ever held!
