SHOP LOCAL INITIATIVES & MY TACO MASK

Good afternoon from the desk of the Alliance! Kari, here! I’ve stolen the opportunity to write to all of you, as Tim is working on an exciting project that requires his undivided attention. I like it when Tim is super busy because I secretly love writing to all of you. I debated changing the title today to ‘The Kari Report’, but as the new kid on the block, I probably shouldn’t push my luck. 😉

The ladies and I have been working on a really cool project that I am excited to share with all of you as we move into November. I’m not going to give you all the details just yet but I’ll drop a teaser or two while I’m here… We have been studying best practices for sharing ‘Shop Local’ initiatives and are looking forward to launching a campaign for them throughout the holiday season.

This will include a lot of neat, new social media content, uses of our press, and some educational initiatives tailored to our specific community. We’re excited! We want to bring as much business to our local retailers as we can during the holiday season and I am certain we have that in common with all of you. That being said, if you have upcoming specials, events, or info you want to get out, send them to me!

Lastly, make sure to check out our businesses of the month for October! There is information about them below. Today I’m wearing my favorite mask. I got it from The Queen’s Cottage. It has little tacos on it. If you see me walking to Whit’s to get coffee and find yourself feeling jealous of my mask… it is OK. You can get one from them too. They have a mask in every color and for every holiday or theme that you can think of.

Have a wonderful weekend! And as always, call me sometime! Let’s talk marketing!
