We’ve had another exciting week at the Ashland Alliance as we prepare for many fun events around our region. As we celebrate our Nation’s 247th birthday, we are reminded daily how lucky we are and it’s easy to see why we are a great nation…we are made up of great people.
We had another fantastic Lunch and Learn this past Tuesday at the KDMC Pavilion. Our friends from Humana supplied lunch and a really informative session, “Medicare 101” with Jacob Chapman and his Northern Kentucky Market Manager Matt Miller making the presentation. Lots of information was presented and many questions were asked!
Our week has been made up of many meetings of sharing information and the spirit of working together in this amazing region. We have brought back the Alliance Ambassadors! You will be hearing a lot more from this group as we continue to get the word out about what is going on with the Ashland Alliance. We are also getting everything geared up for next Thursday’s (July 6th) Business After Hours in Downtown Russell. We are thrilled to be working with the Russell City Council and the businesses in Downtown Russell to bring you a three-hour event from 4PM to 7PM. Also happening at this time is the new Greenup Farmer’s Market (across from City Hall). We are looking forward to great finger foods and drinks from Ghostly Gourmet and The Dragonfly Outdoor Cafe. Come enjoy fun, food, live local musicians, and the chance to see your neighbors!
