There’s No Place Like Home Great week here in Northeast Kentucky! For me, it is interesting since last week I was lucky enough to participate with our Governor selling Kentucky to other parts of the world. Last week was the Farnborough Airshow which is the largest gathering of Aerospace companies, many of which focus on metal and metal fabrication in the world. The Ashland Alliance along with the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and Governor Bevin met with seventeen companies looking for expansion opportunities in the United States. So, while we are hosting athletes and families from around the world with the Braidy Industries $60,000 Women’s Tennis Classic this week, our area was also taking our story to the world. I hope you have had the chance to see what world-class tennis looks like here in Ashland. I have had the opportunity to welcome players and their families to our part of the world and country to show what summertime in Kentucky looks like. I have reasons to be proud, and I want to thank Braidy Industries in becoming a corporate partner in highlighting our community.
