We are keeping office hours every day to serve you and your business. If we can help you get the word out about how your business is operating during this crisis please let us know and we will help you market on our new COVID-19 website and on our Facebook Page.
This week we have been reaching out to you, our members, on behalf of Governor Beshear, Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development and the Kentucky Association of Economic Development. Governor Beshear has asked us to help the state find and develop a network of companies that can provide PPE (personal protection equipment). We are competing with 49 other states, the federal government and basically every other government in the world for a scarce product of PPE. We have worked with Kentucky Power and their AEP lead GIS department to identify all the companies in our region that could manufacture PPE for the state. If we have missed some, please let us know. Not only is this a good opportunity to help the Commonwealth, but also it could be a way to keep your employees busy and make some revenue.
Everyone is pulling together to get through this. Spring has sprung! If we continue to practice our social distancing and work to help our families and neighbors— this too shall pass. The Alliance, like all organizations, has changed what we do and what we offer in these times. If you have an idea or if you know of something that can help— please let us know!
