SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Hello from the desk of the Alliance. Monday started with your organization marketing our area to a series of new companies in Atlanta Georgia. We attended the MRO Aviation Show held once a year. Over 850 companies were represented with our group meeting with 23 different companies to share the opportunity and growth this region is experiencing. Weeks like last show us we have talent in this region and need to continue to highlight the people, skills, and opportunity we represent.

We are also proud to have partnered with Hopes Place and Kentucky Farmers Bank for a great Business After Hours on Thursday. We had a wonderful group of people that came out to see firsthand how people helping people is a benefit to all. This is the season for people reconnecting after the winter. Our Business After Hours is a wonderful way to wind down after work and make the connections that help each one of us.

I also have one nugget to share this week. Driving back from Atlanta on Wednesday I noticed something. From Highway 627 in Winchester and coming up Interstate I-64 Ashland is being Highlighted. What I am speaking of is the new Interstate signs with ASHLAND as the destination east of Lexington. For me see this just felt different. It felt as if the stock of this community is on the rise and being highlighted. It helps in branding….it help in name recognition. It just is a positive thing.

Your Ashland Alliance is proud to have the chance to serve you. This week is an example of how together we can work to share the opportunity for growth in economic development and how your chamber is here to build from within. Please reach out to us and let us know a good time to come sit down with you and learn more about your business and how we can help.

Have a great weekend!
