Opell Meats has been family owned and operated since 1969. Laura Maggard and her husband Brad took over the family business in the spring of 2023. They saw an opportunity to keep the family business going and decided to hit the ground running. The main goal at Opell Meats is to offer the area farmers a local slaughterhouse that provides top notch service, is trustworthy, and delivers back a quality product. Opell Meats has several decades of experience in the butchering business and takes great pride in the products they deliver. The butcher shop also has a storefront with top quality fresh beef and pork cuts. Opell Meats is honored to continue on the family tradition of providing their customers with quality service and quality meats.
