Dear Prospective Parade Participant:

The Christmas season is rapidly approaching, and the Ashland Alliance’s Winter Wonderland of Lights parade will take place on Tuesday, November 26 in downtown Ashland. The theme for this year’s WWOL’s parade is “Candy Cane Christmas”.

Judging criteria for the float competition: is “Best Overall”, “Best Theme” and “Runner-up”. There will be prizes of two $500 awards and a $300 award for runner-up. The parade will also feature a band competition, with the winning band leading next year’s parade.

Please find the Application Form and the Rules and Regulations, as set forth by WWOL and the Ashland Police Department. When you sign the Application Form, your signature signifies you have read and will abide by the rules for the parade.  I will send you a staging area map with your participation confirmation letter.

If you need to work on your float/vehicle decorations before the parade, please come early and bring all of your supplies. No one will be allowed in the staging area except for parade participants after 5 p.m.  Parade volunteers WILL NOT let any vehicle into the area to bring supplies.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the form and return it to the Alliance office at the address listed below, by fax: 606-325-4607 or email: paula@ashlandalliance.com.
